.::about techdeviant::.

i just wanted to create a place to review and talk about things that i’ve done, things that i like, and things that i definitely don’t want to do again. i feel like the web is a huge and awesome place, and there is someone, somewhere that will want the information i have to give. well, at least they are looking for information about something that i have advice on, it may not mean that they want my advice per se.

i moved to using wordpress from thingamablog, mostly because i wanted to be able to post from anywhere. also, the underlying database system is intuitively more useful, though, i’m not sure i’m going to have a plethora of info and it may not be so necessary for a site like mine. wordpress also offers a nice comment system, and given that i’m trying to inspire discourse (seriously now), well, you know, user comments are the heart of that.

i try to be accurate when i can, but as much as i hope that i am perfect, i must unwillingly admit that i am fallible. you are always welcome to make comments and offer your advice on a topic, or email me at toni -at- discourse.techdeviant -dotcom-.

general info about me: i’m a professional working in downtown Seattle as a web programmer for a small company (it’s awesome). i grew up in and went to school in northern California, and i mostly still consider myself a Californian. of course, most of my posts are going to relate to Seattle and it’s areas. but sometimes i’m lucky enough to stop working a little, and maybe i’ll take a vacation and write about that too :)
