A pretty popular restaurant with sometimes very long wait times. I’ve shown up and waited 45 minutes for a table, but I have also gone and sat down immediately. The staff is always nice and the prices pretty fair. Parking is off street only, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem finding a space.
The food is pretty good, though like the wait times, it sometimes can be hit and miss. There are some dishes that are always excellent (I loooove the potstickers). We had the chow mein with house made noodles, and they were pretty good, but the left overs the next day reminded me how incredibly greasy they were.
It’s close to my house, so I tend to eat here a lot when I am craving Chinese food, but I am still looking for my favorite westside Chinese place.

A very active restaurant with a good selection of food and great service. Large place with many tables can probably accomodate large groups. I love going here - it’s the only place for Chinese food on the Eastside for me.
I’ve never been but I know a few people who love to visit their bar and do Karaoke - they say it’s great.

I drive by here on my way to the Eastgate Park and Ride every day, so I figured I should try it out. I was really disappoointed, since it seemed to have a decent rating on citysearch. Maybe I went on an off night.
We went randomly a few weeks ago, in the middle of the week, if that makes any difference. My food was cold and bland, and very greasy. The restaurant is small, but cozy. Service was average, could have been better in a place that was mostly empty.
I’d much rather go to the Maple Leaf Restaurant up the street anyday. They have karaoke and better service.

We were wandering around Ballard after a few hours at Sunset Bowl, and we were hungry. Someone in our group had heard this place was good, so we gave it a try. I was suprised how large the inside of the restaurant was, because on the outside, it sort of looks dark and dimlly lit. It also looks fancier than your normal take out Chinese place, but maybe that’s a good thing
We decided to try out the family style dinner menu - Imperial Dinner, $16/person, with dishes coming out in this order:
- BBQ Pork, Pot Sticker, Egg Roll (giant!)
- Moo Shu Pork
- General Tso’s Chicken, Walnut Prawns (yummy), Pan Fried Steak (also yummy), Fried Rice, and Chow Mein
Way too much food for the 4 of us. It was very good though, and we certainly stuffed ourselves to the brim.
As for service… I don’t remember anything significant about it, they always seemed to fill our water up when it was needed. They didn’t bring me another coke or my friend another beer, but I guess it wasn’t that important for me to notice at the time.
