It’s street parking only, but there is a pay lot right next door that is shared with a few other restaurants. It’s close to Juanita beach, so it can be crowded in the area at times. It’s also kind of a bummer that it is so far from Seattle. I suppose Kirkland isn’t really far, but I don’t like driving across the lake if I don’t have to :)

I like tapas plates because you try so many more dishes than you might otherwise eat. We tried the fresh fish ceviche, some potato/yam dish, and some spicy chorrizo. All were very very excellent. The ceviche was awesome. It was the perfect pairing of lime and spice to bring out the wonderful flavor of the fish. And this is coming from someone who only likes California rolls and smoked salmon. It was served with a scoop of baked (fried?) corn kernels that had the most pleasant pop in your mouth.

The service was good, but the restaurant was too upscale looking for me to want to go very often. The waiter was prompt and knowledgeable, but I felt that he was laying on the Spanish accent a little too thick. The good food speaks for itself - I don’t need a “modern” atmosphere to enjoy it.

Also, an important detail for some bored group of single women - there just seemed to be an overly abundant selection of hot looking male waiters. The only female staff I saw in the whole restaurant was the hostess. I don’t know how a restaurant in Kirkland could hire so many cute guys at one place… but they did it.
